The Royal Family<\/strong> It has been involved in the wine world since the early part of the last century, when in 1921 the first vintage was recorded in the company records.<\/span><\/p>

At the time, however, our great-grandfather, Don Vito Reale, sold the grapes to the major merchants in northern Italy or France, seeking robust wines to match their strong, full-bodied, and dark-colored ones.<\/span><\/p>

After all, the main activity had always been related to tobacco<\/strong>, First as dealers of the State Monopolies, then as processors, from the leaf to the final product ready for cigarettes.<\/span><\/p>

After the war, the idea of devoting more attention to the wine sector took shape, following the typical vocation of the area.\u00a0<\/span>territory, that is, a production aimed at the quantity and sale of loose or cut wine.<\/span><\/p>

The recent history, on the other hand, is all about the gradual realization of the qualitative potential and\u00a0<\/span>commercial operators in Salento's viticulture.<\/span><\/p>

At the threshold of the 21st century New project by Vigneti Reale takes shape<\/strong>: select from the company\u2019s best vineyards only the wine destined for bottling, increasing the focus on the highest standards both on the vine and in the cellar, prioritizing\u00a0<\/span>finally the quality of the product is equal to the mere quantity.<\/span><\/p>
